China Glaze was gracious enough to send me their PR package for their spring collection, and I couldn’t be more thrilled! I am so grateful they were willing to send these to me, but it will not affect my review. I am always honest in my reviews!
Can’t Stop Branchin’ is a turquoise creme polish that dries to a satin finish. This polish was the most difficult to work with. Too much manipulation will pick up the polish entirely, and it did not self-level. Take your time with this polish and you’ll get a beautiful manicure. I’m a huge fan of the shade, and top coat smoothed out any ridges so I would definitely wear this color again.
Chill In Symphonyville is a satin/matte powder blue polish with fuchsia and blue iridescent glitter. This polish is on the sheer side so it can be used as a topper or can be built up to wear on its own in three coats. I love the look of this matte, but that glitter really shines through when topped with a glossy top coat.
It’s All Techno is a chartreuse creme polish. 2-3 coats are needed for full opacity. It is a little sheer, but the formula was easy to work with. I do not have any polishes of this color in my collection, so I’m excited to use this for gradients or nail art. Definitely a fun, bright color for this time of year!
Delta Darlin’ is a bright, pastel peach creme polish. Full opacity in 2-3 coats, great formula, and not too bright or too dull. Definitely a great transition color from spring into summer!
No-Holds Barb is bright red-orange jelly that is opaque in 3 coats. This beauty dries ultra shiny, but I suggest top coat for longevity. This is my favorite polish of the collection; China Glaze just has their jelly formulas figured out. I can’t resist a polish like this!
Funky Beat is a bright purple creme polish that is opaque in 2 coats. It does dry dull, but top coat adds shine and smooths out any ridge you may have. This polish is great for any time of year. It’s definitely a purple lover’s dream!
Pink-in-Poppy is probably the most unique polish of this collection. It is a poppy base filled with microglitters and a fuschia shimmer. I have nothing like this in my collection, and I haven’t seen a polish like this before either. It is opaque in 3 coats and dries super textured. To keep it from getting thick, I applied in very thin coats. It is very top coat hungry; I needed 3 to get the shine and smooth feeling I prefer.
Glitter-ific! is a holo glitter mix in a clear base. The glitters are not as fine as Fairy Dust, but it still can be used as a topper. This polish is opaque in 2-3 coats. My polish was already a bit thick so I only needed 2 for my swatch. Just like Pink-in-Poppy, this polish is top coat hungry. I needed 3 coats of top coat to smooth it out.
These polishes are available at Ulta, Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, Walmart, Sally Beauty, and JCPenney Salons. The polishes retail for $7.50 USD each.
Are you going to pick up any of these polishes? Have you seen the movie? I thought the movie was cute, but I still prefer the first one. I was pleased to see where China Glaze found the inspiration for this collection. Any of these polishes would be great additions to your collection if they catch your eye!
